Linda's gravy card includes both turkey gravy and a quick chicken or sausage gravy variation.

Instructions

  1. Turkey gravy: Bring broth to a boil.
  2. Mix cornstarch with water until smooth, then add to pan.
  3. Stir constantly, bring back to a boil, and cook 1 minute until thickened. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Chicken or sausage gravy: After browning meat, leave 2 to 3 tablespoons fat in skillet.
  5. Whisk flour into fat and cook 1 minute.
  6. While whisking, pour in milk and bring to a boil.
  7. Lower heat and simmer gently for 2 minutes.
  8. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
