Lasagna recipe card

A classic layered lasagna recipe from Linda that makes two 9x13 pans for big family meals.

Instructions

  1. Brown meat slowly. Add garlic, parsley, basil, salt, tomato paste, and diced tomatoes; simmer 30 minutes.
  2. Cook noodles in salted water until tender. Drain and rinse in cold water.
  3. Mix all cheese filling ingredients together.
  4. This recipe makes 2 (9x13) pans. In each pan, place 1/4 of noodles on the bottom.
  5. Spread 1/4 of cottage cheese mixture over noodles.
  6. Add 1/4 mozzarella cheese and 1/4 meat sauce.
  7. Repeat layers. Sprinkle extra mozzarella on top.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
